Base Cabinet Construction Details

DRAWERS:
Smoothly opening drawers put contents at your fingertips without sagging. Precision-made drawer slides, consisting of an outer channel, intermediate channel and center track move freely on a continuous series of ball bearings for effortless operation. Accurately machined grooves assure precise fit to eliminate any side-play between members. Special rollers facilitate the disengagement and re-entry of the integral chassis and track section into the remaining side members and subsequently into the cabinet. Heavy-duty cold rolled steel drawer construction combined with the precision slide mechanism results in related load capacities far in excess of requirements. .

HANDLES:
Teclab inset handles (shown above) are extruded aluminum with an anodized finish (11"w x 1-1/4"h x 1"d).
Wetlab external handles are stainless steel (5"w x 1-3/8"d x 3/8" dia.).

HINGES:
Concealed soft-close hinges. Tension closed (no latches required).

LOCKS:
Security key-locks can be installed in any Teclab drawer cabinet at the factory, or at any time with knockouts provided.

DOORS:
Heavy-duty doors feature double wall construction of heavy duty cold rolled steel with front panel and back liner for soundproofing. Firm, quiet closing is assured by the use of rubber bumpers installed in every door liner.

INTERNAL FRAMES:
High quality Base Cabinets with rugged twin internal frames form the foundation for Teclab Work Station superiority.

REMOVABLE BACK PANEL:
All Teclab base cabinets feature a removable back panel. External on technical style cabinets (shown above) and internal on wetlab style cabinets.
